Template:Seasoninfo/Meisterschaft The 1984 DTM Season, formally known as the 1984 Deutschen Produktionswagen Meisterschaft or the 1984 Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft, was the inaugural season of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft, staged between March and September 1984.[1] Centred on promoting privateer entries that conformed to the FIA's Group A ruleset, the inaugural DTM campaign featured over 100 individual entries and cars from fourteen manufacturers.[1]
